Petition season is underway and I am out getting signatures!
My team, including an amazing army of District Leaders and volunteers, are working tirelessly to ensure I will be on the ballot for the September primary and November general elections. This past week I personally have been to Mount Kisco, Lewisboro, Yorktown, Brewster, Somers and places in-between. I have attended petition-signing gatherings in South Salem and Pleasantville (thank you Cheryl Card and Francesca Hagadus!). And we’re just getting started.
We are aiming for 2,000+ signatures or more. If you are a registered Democrat and live in the 40th Senate District, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange for you to sign our petition (and remember, you can only sign one petition for SD40 – so please sign ours!). And if anyone wants to host a petition-signing meet & greet, please let me know so I can stop by!
I hope you’ve had a chance to join and share our $40 for SD40 campaign. As you know, our state senate race is made up of citizens and volunteers, not powerful politicians or elite business leaders who contribute massive amounts of dollars to keep control of the agenda in Albany and Washington. I will not be bought or sold, I will represent the citizens I’ve been meeting with and listening to across this district for the last 10 months. Your contribution, no matter how small, makes a big difference to this campaign, because it is your campaign.
